What happens if a lot of my belief systems are proven wrong in 2012?

What happens if a lot of my belief systems need to change in 2012?

Will I go into full blown denial?

Yes, maybe.

Knowing this, I sharpen my eyes to see more and love myself for having my fears to pretend denial is needed from knowing the truth.

What if the following information comes across in 2012, which can shake our root beliefs? How would we react?

Let us have a practice run at it today.

Letting go of the need to win

I believe humans have a subtle mind programming done by society and parents to win in order to be seen as worthy.

  • The man or a woman wins when they get successful in their profession (good job title) or a good looking mate with some riches.

The Need to Manipulate

I don’t believe this is a much talked of topic; hence I thought I will put some words into my experience on manipulation.

Manipulation is getting things done in a way that lacks honesty.

It is a belief that less than honest means is the only way to accomplish our desires. Maybe this was a belief we got as an adolescent from observing our parents or society. Maybe this was acquired much earlier.

There are so many subtle flavors of manipulation and ...

Excuse me, I have regressed!

Regression is when we slip unconsciously to a younger age and take an action from the younger aspect of self, which happens to adults when faced with a challenging situation or fear.

The first time I observed having regressed was when I did not get a job in Corporate America for a long time after the end of a challenging consultancy. I lost my ability to pay my rent, take care of myself and my teenage child, and I had to depend ...

Tolerance: Allowing God’s Unique Expressions

As students of emotional healing, all of us have various degrees of intolerance in our lives. This is OK. However intolerance can prevent one from knowing God, directly.

How can we claim to know God when we have separated Creation through intolerance?

Intolerance stems from superiority - the need to strengthen one’s self by putting another down.

When we stop growing spiritually and emotionally, the alternative can be to feign growth by pulling another down.

Here are some flavors of intolerance:

Conflict Management

There are 3 ways to handle a conflict:

1. Power struggle.
This is an unconscious cry for help. This is a read flag indicating "I am insecure. I need to win so I will not get hurt. I need to teach you a lesson and make you wrong so I can feel good about myself. I act this way so I can heal the shame and guilt within me."
When we put our logical hat on and observe one caught in a power struggle, it is clear they have regressed and it may be a fearful/immature/young part of self that is responding instead of the wise adult aspect.

2. Avoidance of Conflicts
This is the natural response of a victim who feels overwhelmed to deal with difference. They have come to the predetermined conclusion they may not be heard or they may be harmed in some way. There are times it is good to avoid a conflict, however that response needs to come after conscious awareness of fears and releasing it.

3. Conscious Constructive Action
This is freeing and leaves no residue of any negative feelings within us. The objective is to collaborate towards a win-win situation through compromise and negotiation, or simply speak our truth without the need for validation.

Here are the steps towards Conscious constructive actions:

Step 1:  Awareness
Be accepting of all emotional insecurities connected to this conflict prior to responding. This is being conscious and not allowing a knee jerk reaction to unconscious insecurities. Take some time to meditate and release fears using the technique shared in my book The Power of Illusion
Choosing to not act after contemplation and releasing of fears, is also a constructive action.

Step 2: Communicate Feelings
If you decide to act, speak your truth from the standpoint of your feelings. Sentences can start such as 'I feel disrespected/unheard when I am not consulted. I would like to request a change here (fill in the details here)'. Avoid any sentence that starts with 'You' or 'Why'.

Be open to being vulnerable during conflicts in personal relationships. This deepens intimacy if the other person is of the same thinking.

Step 3: Action Without Hidden Agenda
Take an action that feels true for you, without hidden agenda. Be willing to compromise if it is not impacting your personal boundaries. Be willing to stand up for your virtues. Do what feels right. Sometimes, what is right may dawn over a period of days or months or years. Allow this too.

Conscious Constructive Action means non judgmental communications and  non war like actions with the objective of closure and resolution within our self!

Hidden Grace in a Fall

I have lived the best part of my life resisting the fall. It felt like the harder I resisted, the more drama I created with each fall. It took a while to realize falling down is inevitable in life. No matter how much of “security” I held on to, like money or relationships, there was a fall.

Upon contemplation of the purpose in each fall, I had my epiphany:

Each and every time I fell down, a virtue was strengthened within. A negative/limited way of thinking was exposed and released from my unconscious mind. I came closer to God. That was the Grace of it all!

As I got up after a fall using constructive methods, the more powerful my manifestations became. My spiritual gifts of intuition and vision increased. My healing abilities increased.

Could I have avoided many falls? YES! Once I understood how illusion worked, I realized my limited beliefs and fear based emotions recreated the same ol’ story with different players.

Owning the purpose of a fall has helped me to let go of victim feelings and step into a place of OKness. This helped me stop some repetitive patterns that were not of the highest benefit to me.

Here are some gifts I gained after a couple of falls:

Life Challenges

Benefit of the challenge

Divorce followed by a long period without a mate in my life

  • I became independent financially and the confidence was born, with time, as I could take care of myself
  • I broke free from all limited lineage beliefs on what the role of a woman was.
  • I came closer to God through devoting the time towards spirituality and emotional healing.
  • I realized I can be who I am in a relationship and I will speak my truth no matter what. I am now learning to make my delivery divine and loving.
  • I discovered courage facing tough life challenges on my own.

Financial Challenges

  • I deepened my faith in God and had the direct experience God hears me.
  • My worry over money lessened.
  • I realized on the day I complete earth and ascend, I am not measured by how much gold I carry. However I would like to have the money I desire just for the experience and not attach my self worth to it.
  • I was more aware about my fears of responsibility, my insecurity and my laziness
  • My virtues of  love, humility, forbearance, patience, acceptance and tenacity strengthened.

Constructive Actions After The Fall

Communicate with the unconscious part of self and become aware of its fears and re-parent it. This open the doors for manifestation of our desires, once the lesson has been learned.

Method

1.       Discover: Ask the unconscious mind what it is afraid of, and let the non dominant hand respond. Do not be judgmental. This is a non logical part of you responding, hence loving patience is needed.

2.       Re-Parent: Once the unconscious has listed all the fears then re-parent/re-educate the inner child though your dominant hand. Let it know the adult that you are, is capable of taking care of any challenge, after all you have mastered many limitations in  life.   Affirm your faith in God to your inner child. Meditation, energy work, prayer or massage work may be of assistance here.

3.       Release: At the end of the discovery and  re-parenting phase, ask the unconscious mind if it is willing to release the fears and take constructive actions to resolve the problem rather than have distractions or addictions. Once it is willing, thank the unconscious mind, share your love and close the writing and tear the pages and offer it to God.

Do the above 3 steps as often as needed, every day if possible, until the fear energy leaves and the unconscious is in full agreement to take the necessary steps as guided by the conscious mind.

With this new partnership between conscious mind and unconscious mind made, for this particular issue and related thought entanglements, manifestations can now take place quicker.
